Hangry

I’ll share some more with you soon, but HANGRY is my favourite word of all time… So let’s practice!

The word ‘hangry’ is quite a new word (people only started using it recently) and it is super popular at the moment. It is a combination of two words, HUNGRY and ANGRY and it describes the state of being angry because you are hungry!

For example:

I’m sorry for yelling at you, I’m just hangry. I haven’t eaten lunch yet!
Tom’s hangry – I need to make him a snack before we go or he’ll drive us crazy!
